The Gay Caravan & Camping Club a UK-based club for lesbians and queer men, who possess a Caravan, Tent or Motorhome and are looking for an opportunity to meet up in a relaxed atmosphere with other enjoy minded people.

“The prime function of the G.C.C. club is to provide the opportunity for a social gathering point for lesbians and gay men who follow their hobby in camping. Whether this is in a caravan, tent or motorhome, they know they can relax in the company of like-minded people.”

The club meets are often held on sites which are in use by other members of the public and families and whilst the club has a relaxed attitude to most things there are a arrange of guidelines constructed to protect the reputation of the club and guarantee that they are welcome back to all sites that they use. The club welcomes members with children but states “Club events and get togethers after 8pm are strictly adults only (18+)”

Annual membership which is open to UK and European residents is £15

Rosebay is the only naturist campsite with Caravan and tents to rent in the UK which is exclusively for lgbtq+ and bisexual men.

You can also visit just for the day – Date Visitors

Situated in over 6 acres of beautiful tranquil countryside in the heart of The Fens of Lincolnshire, Rosebay has been created to provide you with seclusion and an environment to relax and be yourself.  Of course we are aware that not everyone wants to receive naked and so the choice is yours.

The Freedom Club

A camping and caravan club for male lover, lesbian, bisexual and transgendered people.

The Autonomy Club arranges rallies and meets many of which are on Caravan Club and Camping & Caravanning Club sites and certificated locations.

“We are a club for Homosexual Men and Male lover Women pursuing a common interest of Camping or Caravanning. Our aim is to provide a means whereby same-sex attracted people can get together up for weekends, weeks or even longer rallies throughout the UK and sometimes into Ireland and Europe.”

The membership fee is per “unit” (caravan, campervan or tent) and is currently £15 a year. You can join online here: Online Application:

The Gay Caravan & Motorhome Club is the longest running UK based club for the gay community; who just happen to share a common interest and own either a Caravan, Tent or Motorhome.

We are a club that is run by members for members, who savor sharing times away with others throughout the UK and occasionally Europe. We are a sociable amiable club which has been running successfully and growing since 1990, where the emphasis is on our common enjoyment of Caravanning, Camping and Motorhoming. 

As we are a club for members; every member is encouraged to hold a meet if they are able (although this is not compulsory). Meets can either be as informal as just letting others know that you are on a camp site; to meet up for a coffee and a natter, or you could go all out and arrange a themed weekend as members have done previously such as Cheese and Wine and Halloween fancy dress. Should you ever need any assistance putting on a join then other members of the club are always here to support you.

Most of our social gatherings on our breaks away are informal and relaxed, many members enjoy going on walks with their dogs, sightseeing and visiting places of interest or just meeting up

About Us

Who are we?

The Homosexual Caravan and Motorhome Club (GCMC) was established in 1990, although at that time was called and known as The Male lover Caravan and Camping Club (GCCC), the name then changed in 2014 to include Motorhome into the title.

The Club has grown from strength to power over the years and continues to be a success today through maintaining its values, of promoting friendships, being relaxed and informal, consideration to others, and sharing times away with other members that just happen to be from the gay community.

We are a mixed organization of men and women, singles and couples, from all walks of animation, some of us are fortunate to have retired and spend many weekends and weeks away and some of us perform full time, but take time away as much as we can with the club.

We have members from all over the United Kingdom, and some overseas all in pursuance of a common social outdoor interest in camping, be it in caravan, tent or motorhome.

The GCMC endeavours to bring together like minded people with likeminded interests in camping who just happen to be from the Gay community.

When we get together our meets are informal, relaxed and social, we have members that possess
