Petulant Narcissists on the Verge of a Nervous Breakdown
Dreadful acting across the board for a farce that ticks all the boxes of: 1) over the top buffoonery 2) childish horseplay 3) crude characterisation 4) ludicrously improbable situations. Four separate tales of criss-crossing (and lukewarm) desire that flop to ring true with any real feeling or emotion and not even the slightest connection to the abysmal state of affairs of LGBTQ rights in Italy. What aspires to be a zany and irreverent comedy instantly chokes on its intentions delivering a D.O.A. Almodovar knockoff completely void of either purpose or vision, and in spite of all the antics what we're left with is a lifeless relic that I'm sure will provide all "talent" involved with cooky showreel clips for years to come.

Naked, but DOA
The two male protagonists in this movie were clearly chosen for their pectorals rather than for their acting ability, and that about sums up the general quality of this forgettable drama. With the exception of S. Lue McWilliams who, as the dying mother (and only grownup), has too few moments on screen, the acting is very "daytime soap" – in short, overwrought and about as subtle as a crutch. Karmine Alers in particular starts at about 120% pit bull and ramps up from there. In most of her scenes you're too worried that she's going to have a stroke to pay attention to what she's saying. The scene in which she supposedly softens enough to expose her "true soul" by singing, a cappella, a banal Britney Spear

Disappointing!
I had high hopes for this movie because it has overwhelmingly positive reviews, some even called it the "best movie of 2012". I didn't watch the movie until now, and I am really disappointed!
I was dragging myself through most parts of the movie. 30 minutes into the movie and I was thinking, "I'm not interested, what's so interesting about this movie?" Things only became slightly interesting midway

Weekend (2011) - 7.6
So many LGBTQ films sound to fall on either one side or the other of the happy/tragic binary. This clip, however, manages to fall somewhere in the middle, providing a bittersweet finish to a concise love affair that springs up between two men who hook up with one another.
It’s a moving and thoughtful film about the nature of homosexual male desire and whether, in evidence, one needs a long term association in order to feel fulfilled.
Admire , Simon (2018) - 7.6
For a long time, there were very scant films that focused on queer teens. Thank goodness, then, for this production, which focuses on

useful
it could be too minimalist. or unconvincing. but it has a real virtue- it represents a agreeable invitation for discover fundamental truths. the appearances, the challenges, the solidarity in gentle , ordinary way, the fear and the phenomenon of bulling, the friendship and the social exclusion. and this does "Sunday" not exactly a great film but an useful one.

Finding oneself in the labyrinth of teenage
First day of school and Marc (Marc Vilajuana) walks into his classroom holding hands with Carla, his girlfriend. The movie rapidly slides into Marc's growing fascination towards Alex (Alex Durán), the gay recent kid who is bullied by the class thugs. Though Alex's ordeal is the recurring theme, the viewer gets an awareness into Marc's discovery of his feelings for Alex in the blunt, unstarchy way of Spanish Latin-ness.
The film depicts the intimidating ground gay teenagers possess to walk within the hostile, heavily prejudiced environment of the schools of our civilized world, where none of us has ever escaped discrimination in the many ways it is conceived and exerted.
