Creepy Gym Coach

Hey, coach! Leave them kids alone!

"Coach Carr, step away from the underage girls!"

Mr. Duvall, Mean Girls

A ordinary stereotype of coaches and school gym teachers is that they have a "special interest" in their students.

Some of the things they may execute include staring intently at people while they activity, getting all touchy-feely with them, making flirtatious comments, trying to peek at them changing/showering, stealing underwear (and sometimes sniffing them), or desperately trying to get into people's pants. Their intentions can range from plain creepy (staring and sexual comments, but not actively trying to hurt people) to downright villainous (e.g., molestation or in-and-out rape). If the coach is well valued (usually because they coach a famous sports team), then they might become away with their efforts.

People who are victimized by a creepy coach can be any age, with people who are school-aged being the most common. It won't termination well for them if the parents find out, however.

As a basketball coach for 30 years, Denny Smith seldom thought about LGBT issues. Being queer wasn’t right or wrong; it simply was not part of the Xs-and-Os world Smith (who calls his preceding coaching style “authoritarian”) knew so well.

Raised as Catholic, he could have been angry, upset, muddled, and even hateful when Kyle – one of his three sons – came out in his early 20s.

Instead, Smith cried. It was not because of the news; it was because Smith feared Kyle would face a lifetime of hatred and cruelty.

Smith had already seen “blistering” letters to the editor when a priest in their town of St. Cloud, Minn. came out. Many came from other ministers. But Smith had also seen that the love between a family relative and his boyfriend – a adolescent man who died of AIDS – was no other than the passion Smith felt for his wife, Pat.

Smith grew furious a few years later when Kyle’s boyfriend Joe – a student from the Philippines, whom the Smiths considered part of their family – was forced to leave the country because his student visa expired. The couple still lives apart. (Kyle, who has a good job with Microsoft, ge

A Catholic priest received a standing ovation from his congregation after he ended a sermon by announcing he’s gay.

Father Martin Dolan — who has been the priest and administrator at Church of St Nicholas of Myra in Dublin, Ireland for the past 15 years — was calling on his congregation to vote for same-sex marriage in the upcoming Irish referendum, when he uttered the declaration: “I’m same-sex attracted myself.”

Andrew Hyland, the co-director of Marriage Equality Ireland, lives near the church, and told VICE News that while he’s not personally Catholic, he knows that Dolan has always been popular among the parish.

Hyland said Dublin was buzzing with talk of Dolan’s disclosure. “Everyone was delighted he did it,” he said, adding that, “people are very much hopeful that he will endure in the parish.”

Local community youth worker Liz O’Connor told the Irish Sun: “Father Martin has always been an advocate of people’s rights, and even spoke about infant abuse in the Church.”

She added: “He is a dude of real conviction and he doesn’t back down… He speaks his mind.”

Ultimate Wrestling Q&A: Sting, William Regal, Gay Wrestlers & More

Tossing Salt Presents:
Ultimate Wrestling Q&A
Sting, William Regal, Gay Wrestlers & More

Dancing more than a debuting Jeff Hardy while his brother gets beaten up, it’s the Ultimate Wrestling Q&A. Let’s do this.

Since New Jack’s passing last year, has Sting inherited his soul? I ask this because every big match sting now competes in, has a big dive in it somewhere.

I’ve noticed that Sting seems to love to do the high-spots and big bumps far more often than a 62-year-old man probably should, but I don’t assume he’s being possessed by the spirit of Unused Jack. After all, we haven’t seen Sting experiment to slice anyone up as of yet. When that happens, then we can start to fret. Until then, we’ll just sit back and like watching Sting defy the odds and kick ass.

With Steve Austin set to return to this year’s WrestleMania. Does this display a lack of A-grade matches in the current roster or is this good for the WWE?

If Steve Austin is going to be there, it’s definitely good for the WWE. Yes, the matches a

Apple TV+ docuseries follows locals who dream of making it big in the wrestling world

Danny Cage is a 6-foot-tall, no-nonsense former professional wrestler that believes “dreams are worth fighting for” — literally. He’s the owner and coach of the Paulsboro wrestling school Monster Factory, the backdrop of a fresh Apple TV+ docuseries that premiered March 17.

“Monster Factory” follows Cage as he trains spandex-clad misfits at his wrestling school in New Jersey, helping them fight each other — and for their large break as professional wrestlers.

“My coaching has evolved over the past decade-plus of coaching. It’s a mixture of my amateur wrestling roots combined with some old-school pro wrestling and a new-school healthy mental health approach to it,” says Cage, who has trained professional wrestlers such as Steve Maclin (of Rutherford), Q.T. Marshall (of Freehold), Damian Priest (of New York City), Matt Riddle (of Allentown, Pa.) and many
