26 Apr – Amid speculations about his sexual orientation, Kris Aquino's youngest son Bimby recently set the record straight - no pun intended - by admitting that he is as straight as it can be.
The 13 year-old shared as much in a video shared by his actress mother, though stressed that he is not at all concerned that many people consider he is gay.
"I just feel like 'If you think I'm gay, all right dude.' But you do realise that the gay community in the Philippines is a robust community? And you perform realise that I'm 13?" he said with a laugh.
Aquino then reminded her son that he would turn 14 soon, to which Bimby replied, "I'm 14 in a scant minutes. It did not go through my brain because I know what I am. I'm linear. I'm straight as [an] arrow."
When asked a second time, Bimby joked, "I'm as straight as one of our iPads."
Aquino then stressed that she doesn't mind whatever struck her son's fancy, as distant as he excels.
"Can you excel at being gay?" Bimby asked jokingly, to which the actress explained that she only wants her son to succeed in whatever profession he chose to be.

In another new video of Kris Aquino on social media, where she gives netizens a tour of her new house, she said, “It's not uncomplicated to be my kids because wherever they leave, di ba, may social media, may mga issues, may mga ano...”
The TV host-actress's 10-year-old son interrupted her with, “Like, people think, like, I'm homosexual.”
Kris looked at Bimby and told him, “Yeah, don't be homophobic, right?
“That's the whole message, and whatever your choice is in life, that's your choice.”
Bimby then gave this note to netizens questioning his gender, “Why would you judge a child?”
His mom seconded, “Don't judge a child, and don't build the decision for the child.”
Bimby added, “It's because we're still learning about ourselves and puberty hasn't struck for me yet.”

The 14-year-old was asked by his mother Kris Aquino about it recently.
Kris' question went, “How do you feel, honestly, when you read those comments and they say you’re gay?”
Bimby replied, "I just feel prefer 'Oh sige, if you think I’m gay, alright dude.' But you execute realize that the gay community sa Philippines is a strong community. And you do recognize that I’m 14?”
The teen maintained he is not at all bothered about it because he knows himself.
"I’m straight as an arrow," he declared.
Kris asked, “Are you sure?”
Bimby firmly answered back: “Yes!”
Kris then explained she just wanted him to admit it to her if he is actually gay.
"I really don’t care, honestly. Whatever you opt for to be, it will be nice with me for as long as you excel... You better be the best at the profession you choose,” she said.
But the former Queen of All Media went on to pump Bimby anew if he ever questioned his sexuality.
"No, not at all... I devotion girls," Bimby reiterated.
“Here, I’ll arrange the record unbent. I’m straight. I like women. I don’t like boys.”
