After entity marginalised and brushed over for so long, the true stories of Queer people throughout history are now increasingly being brought to light. But what many people still may not realise is that numerous great figures from very long ago were known to have been gay or bisexual.
1. Julius Caesar
The most iconic of all the Ancient Romans, Julius Caesar is famed for many things: his incredible military successes, his rise as a dictator, and his bloody assassination at the hands of his retain senators. What’s less well-remembered is that, during his younger years, Caesar was widely thought to hold been involved in a passionate romance with another man. And not just any man: his squeeze was said to own been King Nicomedes IV of Bithynia, an ancient kingdom located in modern-day Turkey.
The love affair was such an unlock secret that a military song celebrating Caesar’s victories featured the line, ‘Caesar laid the Gauls short, Nicomedes laid Caesar low’ – a reference to Caesar taking what they considered the feminine role in the relationship.
Caesar’s political rivals ran with the theme, mocking him as ‘the Queen of Bithynia'. The

These scientists own always classified ppl by their bone structure, & now they have intricate DNA testing at their disposal. Because it is erroneous on so many levels, most anthropologists avoid using the term "White" when describing a "race" of humans. The correct/proper term is Caucasian. Why? Because Caucasians have a wide variety of skin, hair, & eye color plus hair texture. Hispanics are Caucasians. Latinos are also Caucasians. ALL Hispanics are Latinos, but not all Latinos are Hispanics. The monitoring are considered LATINOS because they possess a common language base & also VERY similar cultures & values: Italians, Sicilians, French, Portugues, Castillian Spaniards & Spaniards who express the 4-6 other languages authorized/recognized by the Spanish gov't, such as Catalán & Occitán. Cesar Chavez
This Last week, I went out to witness the movie based on the life of Latino icon and civil rights leader Cesar Chavez. It was a most moving movie and like the Oscar award-winning movie on Harvey Milk it brought back so many memories for me and had me crying, laughing and leaving the theater occupied of pride.
I was blessed to have known and worked with both Harvey Milk and Cesar Chavez.Chavez came out for “homosexual rights” in the 1970s and Milk also came out for Chavez’s grape boycott.
I invited Cesar Chavez to march and speak at a Parade on Washington for Lgbtq+ Rights and he marched and spoke at the huge rally to almost a million people. I had the honor to introduce him and parade with him in Washington.
Later on in years, I presented Cesar Chavez with a homosexual civil rights award and some years after he died I received the “C
