There was some controversy when doing press around town in Chicago. Elvis walked out of the building when WPPN La Kalle 106.7 did not allow him to discuss his support of the LGBT community on air. Sources utter that it was more of an advertising decision for the radio station although Crespo didn’t take it that way: “I’m let down that it’s the 21st century and this type of discrimination still exists in the media.”

Elvis Crespo shakes his hips at Circuit Night Club this week on his Indestructible tour. The Puerto Rican Merengue singer acknowledged for his huge strike "Suavemente" is ready to heat things up for the Latino gay market with a tour across the country.
JN: (Jerry Nunn) Hola, Elvis! Last hour I talked to you was at V Dwell in Chicago.

EC: It is a different audience but I am not going to change things very much. It is the same Elvis Crespo that people know, sensual dancing and singing.
JN: You have had gay fans all this time anyways. "Suavemente" was a large hit everywhere.
