According to 2016 findings, male lover male porn is the second most viewed category by women on the site—“lesbian” is the first but only by a little margin. It is also revealed in this study that 18 to 24-year-old women are 24 percent more likely to watch queer male porn than other age groups.
But perhaps it’s not surprising that more and more women are ditching heterosexual porn for something a petite gayer? Heterosexual porn is predominately made for and by men, meaning it rarely caters to what women wish to see. Without meaning to yuck anyone else’s yum, for most women, watching another lady get spermed on doesn’t quite chop it. But it’s not just the content that women are finding unsatisfactory, it is the context also. Much of the heterosexual porn out there can be exploitative, dehumanizing, degrading and display troubling gender dynamics, and even if it doesn’t most are still inextricable from an industry that is built on monetizing all those things. So for a lot of women that makes for uncomfortable viewing.

This was made abundantly clear earlier this year when TikTok user @kirahofficial posted a video with with the text: “When I realized gay male p**n turns me on more than straight p**n.”
It was a seemingly benign observation (and typical TikTok fodder) that turned controversial when a rush of gay men accused Kirah of fetishizing the lgbtq+ male community. “At first the responses were agreeing with what I said, but after about four hours, they got really nasty,” she tells InsideHook.
“I was really surprised that it blew up because I’d told my top friend that I monitor gay [male] porn and she didn’t think much of it,” she explains. “So when I posted it [on TikTok] I was expecting the equal response since I reflection society was moving more toward [sex]-positivity than slut-shaming.”
Kirah’s video went viral and currently hosts over 35,000 comments and an alarming number of death threats.

So me and my GF were talking about how obviously men, bi and gay women survey lesbian porn but its widely regarded as normal for totally straight women to watch sapphic porn and to get turned on by it and it doesn’t represent they bi or gay.
She knows I watch homosexual male porn but thats because I’m bi, but she said I’m on my own there, as the mind of 2 men together, no matter how fit, doesn’t do anything for her, quite the opposite.
I recognize from chats with straight men I know who would never consider watching gay male porn as they possess the same notion as my GF.
Even when you go on porn sites lesbian porn is classed as straight porn but gay porn is in its control category.

I’ve never watched gay porn but I once stayed with lgbtq+ friends in Germany and they had gay porn magazines which I really enjoyed reading and found to be a turn on.

According to a survey released by Mail & Guardian, straight women like to watch gay porn films. The research concluded that the “male gay porn” category is the second most well-liked within the target audience, especially with those who are over 45 years old. Meanwhile, 40% of young women between 18 and 24 years elderly are also interested in said category.
According to the channel Sexlog.com (via Universa), straight women are also interested in porn in general, especially gay men porn. In the poll, 63% of women over 18 years old said that they watch sex between two men, as opposed to 37% who claimed not to watch.
