I recently had breakfast at Café Konrad in Hanover and experienced both highs and lows during my visit. The cafe's ambiance is exceptionally welcoming, offering a cozy environment that's perfect for a morning meal. The staff here are commendable for their friendliness and ability to communicate in multiple languages, making every guest sense at home. However, my visit wasn't without its issues, primarily concerning the facilities. Notably, the lighting in the toilets was non-functional, which, combined with some of the female toilets being out of order, posed an inconvenience. The cleanliness of the toilet area was also a concern, as there was an evident unpleasant odor. This, along with the toilets' proximity to the kitchen, left me with some hygiene and health safety questions. Café Konrad shines when it comes to its breakfast offerings and the overall atmosphere created by its wonderful staff. Yet, the experience could be significantly enhanced by addressing the maintenance and cleanliness of the toilet facilities.

CSD Braunschweig takes place from the 9th to the 10th August 2024.

On the CSD weekend, the opening and closing rallies accompanied by the stage program will take place on the Schlossplatz, we perform together with numerous participants across Braunschweig's city centre and come to gyrate at the big Identity Night closing together.

Saturday, 1pm–3pm
Location: Miniature House (Herzogin-AnnaAmalia-Platz) - Kohlmarkt - Schlossplatz. The pride starts at 13:00 on Herzogin-Anna-Amalia-Platz behind the castle. It leads right through the city centre and ends punctually at the beginning of the stage program at 15:00in the Palace Square. The great CSD demo starts on Saturday afternoon through downtown Braunschweig. Colourful and in a good mood, we want to set an example for a together with hopefully the leading sunshine socially diverse Braunschweig.

A MUST! Went twice and had a lot of fun. Watched a drag show and an episode of Drag Race hosted by queens. Everyone is very nice.

Great lgbtq+ club with a very mixed crowd. Door staff not intimidating. Drinks reasonably priced. 3 rooms with the largest playing pop music. I had a great time.
